چکیده
Maize (Zea Mays L.) production has been greatly benefited from the improvement of inbred lines in regard to resistance diseases. However, absence resistant genotypes bacteriosis is remarkable. The aim study was identify genomic regions for Mal de Río Cuarto (MRC) and bacterial disease (BD) a diverse maize germplasm evaluated Argentinian region where MRC virus endemic. A population assessed both diseases during 2019-2020 crop season. Incidence severity BD were estimated each line genome wide association (GWAS) conducted with 78,376 SNP markers. multi-trait mixed linear model used simultaneous evaluation scored lines. showed high genetic variability resistance. No significant correlation observed between response Promising identified will be confirmed further trials. Key words: disease; study; SNP;

Sequence and phylogenetic analysis of genome segments S1, S2, S3 and S6 of Mal de Río Cuarto virus, a newly accepted Fijivirus species.
Mal de Río Cuarto virus (MRCV) is a newly described species of the genus Fijivirus, family Reoviridae. The nucleotide sequence of four MRCV genome segments was determined. MRCV S1, S2, S3 and S6 were predicted to encode proteins of 168.4, 134.4, 141.7 and 90 kDa, respectively. MRCV S1 encodes a basic protein that contains conserved RNA-dependent RNA polymerase motifs, and is homologous to Rice ...
متن کاملMal de Río Cuarto Virus Infection Triggers the Production of Distinctive Viral-Derived siRNA Profiles in Wheat and Its Planthopper Vector
Plant reoviruses are able to multiply in gramineae plants and delphacid vectors encountering different defense strategies with unique features. This study aims to comparatively assess alterations of small RNA (sRNA) populations in both hosts upon virus infection. For this purpose, we characterized the sRNA profiles of wheat and planthopper vectors infected by Mal de Río Cuarto virus (MRCV, Fiji...

The in vivo subcellular localization of Mal de Río Cuarto virus (MRCV, Fijivirus, Reoviridae) non-structural proteins fused to GFP was analyzed by confocal microscopy. P5-1 showed a cytoplasmic vesicular-like distribution that was lost upon deleting its PDZ binding TKF motif, suggesting that P5-1 interacts with cellular PDZ proteins. P5-2 located at the nucleus and its nuclear import was affect...
متن کاملCYTOPATHOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF Mal de Río Cuarto virus IN CORN, WHEAT AND BARLEY
The Mal de Río Cuarto disease is caused by Mal de Río Cuarto virus (MRCV) transmitted by Delphacodes kuscheli. Comparative studies were carried out on the cytopathological alterations produced by MRCV in corn (Zea mays), wheat (Triticum aestivum) and barley (Hordeum vulgare ), as seen with a transmission electron microscope. Corn plants were infected with viruliferous D. kuscheli collected from...
متن کاملEpidemiology of sexually transmitted diseases in Río Cuarto, Argentina.
Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) are a group of transmittable diseases acquired fundamentally through sexual contact. STD are a social problem resulting from demographic explosion and changes in sexual conduct, which affects teenagers and adults of all socioeconomic strata. The goal of this work was to establish the actual state of the different STD within the studied population. Samples of ...
